Summer Kondattam – A day out with Kids from Home’s

Raindropss in association with VGP Universal Kingdom organized its 3rd edition of “Summer Kondattam -2015” with 100+ less privileged children from Seers Girls Home and Sevalaya, a day out to VGP Universal Kingdom on Sunday. Sathyabama University supported the event with the transportation for the kids and the entry passes were sponsored by VGP Universal Kingdom. Children enjoyed the various rides in the amusement park.Oscar Award winning music director, A.R.Rahman’s sister, Music director A.R.Raihanah, National Award Winner Actor Bobby SimHa, Dangamari Fame “Gana Viji”, VGP Universal Kingdom Chairman Dr. V.G.Santhosham and John yesudas, CEO – Gadgets World graced the occasion and celebrated the Easter day evening with the 100+ lovely kids from the Seers Girls Home and Sevalaya

Raindropss in association with EVP Amusement Park(EVP World) organized a Summer day out (கொண்டாட்டம்)-2013 with 800 underprivileged children and elderly people from various NGOs and Home’s on 31 March 2013 at EVP Amusement Theme Park.

At Diwali Kondattam, Raindropss celebrated Diwali with 275+ children with Musical Cracker on 27 Oct 2013, Sunday evening at Spencer Plaza. Light music was performed by “Udhaya Raagam” U.K.Murali. The evening began with the magic performance of National Award winner Arun Loganathan and leading playback singers T.L.Thaegarajan, MLR Karthikeyan, Velmurugan, Hariharasudhan, Deepika Thaegarajan, Aravind, Haritha, Georgina entertained the children. Sutta Kadhai movie crew, Divya Dharshini (DD), Actor Mahendran, Dr.Rajamani (Director – Astro Channel, Malaysia) and many more attended the celebration and greeted the children from the orphanages. The transportation for the children was organised by Parveen Travels, and Velammal International School also took part in this celebration. Dinner, gifts, and donations for the children’s costumes were presented on behalf of Raindropss.

Raindropss “தாய்க்கு ஒரு தாலாட்டு” – Mother’s day celebration

Team Raindropss celebrates Mothers Day with elderly at Anandam Oldage Home,Ambattur Chennai.

On the third edition of Raindropss, Mother’s day celebrations, Raindropss felicitated legendary playback singer P Susheela for her outstanding contribution towards the music Industry, on the occasion of international Mother’s Day.

Music director A R Reihanah (Oscar winning music composer A R Rahman’s sister), also the brand ambassador of Raindropss presided over the grand celebrations.

This grand celebration was held at Anandham Illam, a free home for senior citizens in Ambattur. Raindropss celebrates Mother’s day in Anandham Illam every year and this year was more special for the inmates, as the senior citizens in the home got an opportunity to meet and greet with their ever green melody queen P Susheela.

Listening to the super hit numbers of P. Susheela made them to recollect their early day’s memories. Super Hits of P. Susheela and the Mother’s day special songs were performed by leading playback singers A R Raihanah, Shravan, Haritha, Aravind and Swetha supported by the Shamsudeen’s Gentlemen Orchestra.

Annual Calendar – Mattram Thedi 2015

Raindropss launched its 2nd annual calendar “Maatram Thaedi – Be the Change 2015” in association with PARK Group of Institutions on Saturday at Rani Seethai Hall, in Aid of education for the children living with HIV, in connection with World AIDS Awareness Day.

Mellisai Mannar M.S.Viswanathan and Padma Bhushan T.H.Vikku Vinayakram were felicitated with LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD and A.R. Murugadoss, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Ismail, Dr. Maria Zeena Johnson, Sujith Kumar, Sathish Sivalingam (Weight Lifter), Sivalingam (MD – Chennai Silks) were felicitated with Change Maker Awards. Directors S.P.Muthuraman, K.Bhagyaraj, A.R.Raihanah, Dr. M.B. Nirmal, Anusha Ravi, Mahanadhi Dr. Shobana, Dhananjayan, Indian Kabbadi team captain Kavitha and many others were present during the occasion to wish the noble project and felicitate the awardee’s.

The first copy of the Calender was released by Padma Bhushan T.H.Vikku Vinayakram and S.P.Muthuraman and received by sensational film director A.R.Murugadoss. Part of the proceeds from the calendar Rupees One Lakh (1,00,000) cheque was handed over to Dr.P.Manorama (Founder – Community Health Education Society) by A.R.Raihanah (Music Director & Brand Ambassador, Raindropss) and Anusha Ravi (CEO – Park Institutions).The rationale behind this calendar project is two, firstly it shows the pictures of achievers whom the common people can take inspiration from, after all inspiration is caught and not taught; secondly the proceeds goes towards a noble cause.

Short films and songs

Raindropss’ first project was on the theme Eye Donation, short film and theme song, Vizhigal, which won the prestigious Silver Eye Award at The National Talent Fest organised by Antardrishti, an organisation for social development. The theme song was intended to give a simple, straightforward message to the public and it was written by Niranjan Bharathi, the great grandson of poet Subramanya Bharathi. Vizhigal urges people to donate their eyes.

The second project was a theme song for World Disability Day, the lyrics for which were penned by lyricist Madhan Karky and sung by Priya Himesh and M K Balaji.

The third project of Raindropss, Educate a child, was a theme song penned by Niranjan Bharathi with music by Girinandh. The song featured 11 leading playback singers including A. R. Reihana, Priya Himesh, Srinivas, Nikhil Mathew, M. L. R. Karthikeyan, Suchith Suresan, V. V. Prasanna, Saindhavi, Vandhana and Super Singer star Sakthi Loganthan. Raindropss also supported the education of 51 underprivileged children (Aruwe, New life Center, Good Life Center) for the year 2012-2013.

The fourth project, Isai Thamizha was dedicated to A. R. Rahman. The music was composed by Girinandh, and the lyrics by Niranjan Bharathi.

The fifth project was an environmental theme song Ithu Namma Bhoomi composed by A. R. Reihana with lyrics by ThavaKumar & A. R. Reihana. This theme song was launched by environmentalist M.B.Nirmal, chairman of Exnora International.

The Sixth project was a theme song to celebrate womanhood, “Saathanai Pengal”, co-produced by Sathyabama University. Music was composed by A.R.Raihanah, Lyrics by ThavaKumar and sung by super singer fame Sonia and Isai Medai fame Vijayalakshmi. This ong was launched by K.S.Chithra during Raindropss 2nd annual Women achiever awards on 9 March 2014.

Latest project was a theme song for Chennai city named “NAMMA CHENNAI” co-produced by Sathyabama University was launched on 15 August 2014 by drummerSivamani. Music by A.R.Raihanah, Lyrics have been penned by vivek Velmurugan and sung by Hemachandra, Gana Bala, A.R.Raihanah, Yazin Nizar and Shamsudeen.

Women Achiever Awards 2015

Raindropss felicitates and presents awards to women achievers from various genres on International Women’s Day every year. In 2015 Raindropss held the second of the annual Women Achiever Awards ceremonies.[12] It was held on 8 March 2015 at Chettinad Vidhyashram, RA Puram, Chennai.
