RAINDROPSS VAANAMAE YELLAI 2025
In celebration of Children’s Day, Raindropss Charity Foundation successfully organized its annual signature initiative – “Vaanamae Yellai”, a unique and inspiring project offering the first-ever flight experience for 30 less privileged children from Chennai to Tuticorin. In line with its commitment to inclusion, this year’s edition also proudly included a transgender and a visually challenged student, ensuring that every child, regardless of background or ability, deserves to dream and soar high. This edition was organized in association with Anandam, VGP Ulaga Tamil Sangam, and Vels Vidyalaya Group of Schools, aiming to create joyful and unforgettable experiences for deserving young minds. Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare and Women Empowerment, P. Geetha Jeevan, travelled along with the children, interacting with them warmly and sharing words of motivation, joy, and encouragement. Joining her were Music Director and Goodwill Ambassador of Raindropss, A.R. Raihanah, Founder and Managing Trustee of Raindropss, Aravind Jayabal, VGP Group Chairman, Dr. V.G.P. Santhosam, Member of State Planning Commission, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Ismail, Anandam Founder and Managing Trustee, Bhageerathy Ramamoorthy, Organic Food Expert Manvasanai Menaka and members of Raindropss who made this journey memorable.
The children took their much-awaited flight from Chennai to Tuticorin, landing amidst cheers and excitement, where they were warmly welcomed by the Management, Staff, and Students of Vels Vidyalaya Group of Schools. From the airport, the team proceeded to Vels Vidyalaya, Ambasamudram, where a special celebration was hosted marking a joyful start to their adventure. Their itinerary included a scenic drive to Tenkasi, where they will stay overnight and enjoy a special dinner hosted at Border Rahmath Hotel. The following morning, the delegation met Thiru. Kamal Kishore IAS, District Collector of Tenkasi, at the Collector Office for a special meet and greet session. As part of their local exploration, the team visited Amar Seva Sangam, Courtallam Falls, and Thrill Park, Gundar Dam offering the children an unforgettable blend of learning, fun, and inspiration. The group returned to Chennai by Pothigai Express, carrying not just souvenirs but memories, confidence, and hope that will last a lifetime. Through Vaanamae Yellai, Raindropss continues to empower less privileged children to dream fearlessly, reinforcing the message that the sky is not the limit—it’s just the beginning.
Neonatal care equipment’s worth ₹15 lakhs donated to 11 Primary Health Centres

As part of its CSR initiative, nice Neotech Medical Systems has donated neonatal care equipment worth ₹15 lakhs to 11 Primary Health Centres (PHCs) across Tiruvallur District, aimed at improving healthcare support for newborns and mothers in rural areas.This impactful CSR initiative was executed by Raindropss Charity Foundation, ensuring that life-saving equipment like radiant warmers, phototherapy units, and infant weighing scales reach government health centres that need them the most.

Raindropss Charity Foundation hosted a heartwarming ‘Inclusive Dinner’ in Chennai to honour the city’s sanitation workers and food delivery personnel for their tireless efforts in keeping the city clean post-Diwali and ensuring uninterrupted service to people during the festive season.The event, organised as an act of gratitude, celebrated these everyday heroes who often work behind the scenes to keep our communities safe, clean, and connected.
The evening included a sumptuous dinner and special gifts for all the sanitation and delivery personnel present.The Raindropss Inclusive Dinner once again stood as a symbol of respect, compassion, and community harmony — honouring those who keep Chennai shining every single day.
Annual Community Iftar & Educational Scholarships
Raindropss Charity Foundation successfully hosted its Annual Community Iftar & Educational Scholarships Initiation at Hotel Vestin Park. The event, which celebrated the spirit of unity, compassion, and education, witnessed the participation of eminent personalities from various fields. The evening was graced by distinguished guests, including Music Director & Raindropss Goodwill Ambassador A.R. Raihanah, VGP Chairman VG Santhosam, Ethiraj College Chairman Mike Muralidharan, Playback Singers Velmurugan & Shamsudeen, Film Institute Principal Kalaimamani Trotsky Marudhu, Mount Road Dargah Hereditary Trustee Syed Mansoorudin, APJMJ Sheik Dawood, Advocate and Member of TN and Pondy Bar Council M Velmurugan and several other prominent dignitaries and well-wishers. One of the key highlights of the event was the distribution of educational scholarships to less privileged students, empowering them to continue their education without financial hurdles. This initiative is a part of Raindropss’ ‘Educate a Child’ project, which aims to provide financial assistance and educational support to underprivileged students across Tamil Nadu. Speaking on the occasion, Aravind Jayabal, Founder & Managing Trustee of Raindropss, emphasized the importance of education and community togetherness. He said, “Education is a fundamental right, and no child should be deprived of learning due to financial constraints. Through this initiative, we aim to bridge the gap and create a brighter future for young minds.” The event concluded with a community iftar, where guests and beneficiaries came together in the spirit of togetherness and shared a meal, reinforcing the values of kindness, inclusion, and social responsibility.
